Rattle Race
Designing a unique toy, tailored specifically for a partnered family through Reach Services Center
- Working with users and developing design needs
- Ethnographic analysis for design features
- Understand and adherence to product safety guidelines
- Team building
The project began by a set of ‘user needs’ with our clients, which in this case were families us student’s were connected with through Reach Services. We used these needs and features to develop an early prototype to later bring back and give to live users. We were instructed on how to observe the users and incorporate their interactions back into the next revision.
It was incredibly rewarding to get to see both the families and their children enjoy using our prototypes, and to have the chance to improve on our design with their direct feedback.
My partner on this project was Mr. Capo, whose own portfolio can be found here.
